Formerly exhibited as ‘This, That and the Other, 2015 Prints', this category has looser connections than other themes. Nonetheless it is a collection of prints that ushered in a new sensibility of working in a specific time frame. There are motifs that will be developed into a ‘series’ in the future. What is seen here is a moment when I just wanted to push ideas around with no predetermined goal. 2015 was a great year for both formulating new directions and skillfully reaching back to utilize the best of past work. Every artist has to find ways to refresh their commitment and delve into the essential foundation that drives their work forward. Menagerie is a juncture of my own rediscovery and by extension for the viewer as well.
